This week in English we have continued with our story of Rose Blanche, we have considered how she may have felt coming across a concentration camp and the choices she faced in whether to help the children in the camp.
Many members of our class took part in a two day Bike Ability course. I am pleased to say that many of the children achieved their level one or level 2 in cycle competence.
In maths we have continued to work with fractions, converting fractions to have the same denominator and then doing addition and subtraction with fractions. This has been hard at times but we have persevered and are getting much more confident.
We have completed our designs for our marvelous mechanisms in science, this was lots of fun and the machines designed have some very interesting functions.
The first half term of 2019 has come to an end. We hope you all have a very enjoyable half term and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 4th March.
