Welcome to Stakesby Primary Academy!

We are an exciting and vibrant school committed to providing the highest standard of education for every pupil, through promoting enjoyable and effective learning. We share these aims and values with our new academy partners, the Enquire Learning Trust (https://enquirelearningtrust.org), who we officially joined as of September 2018.

We were recognised as a securely Good school by Ofsted in February 2018 and are now working hard to build on this to become a Great school!

We are a school where we aim to recognise, develop and celebrate every individual. We are known for our warm and welcoming atmosphere: everybody that visits, comments on our friendly and polite children.

We are proud of our school and welcome visits, so please do not hesitate to contact the office, or pop in to make an appointment. We will be happy to see you and show you round.

This website will guide you through many details of our school’s organisation, aims and policies in the hope that any questions you have will be answered. (In particular, check out Parents'/Carers' FAQ on the Parents'/Carers' menu)

If there is anything else that you would like to know please give us a call, send us an email or just drop in and we will do our best to help.

Please feel free to leave comments in the Guestbook, or contact the school direct with any queries you may have.

Don't miss our class blogs link on the 'Classes' drop down where each class shares events, pictures and activities.

Thank you for visiting!

When a drone visited Stakesby!

Paul from YorkshireDroneServices.com recently visited Stakesby with his drone to take some images of the children spelling out the word 'GOOD' in celebration of our recent Ofsted success. Year 5 used problem solving techniques in a maths lesson to work out the area that the children had to stand in and how the children and letters would be arranged. A huge 'Thank You' to Paul for his services and patience and keep an eye out in the Whitby Gazette for the images!
