'Funny Bones'

This week we are looking at the stories in the  Funny Bones series, by Janet and Allen Ahlberg.

We are listening to the various stories, and have even been putting actions to parts of the stories.

In Numeracy we have been working on adding and subtracting.

In Literacy we have been using speech bubbles to write what the Funny Bones characters say.

We have been busy in the creative area making our own skeletons with cotton buds.

 

Wise Owls now have 'Star Challenges' to do.  These are various challenges that they have to try independently or with a friend. These could be to paint a picture of something in particular, build a model in the Duplo, play eye spy etc  These will change weekly. The Wise Owls are enjoying the challenge!!!

 

Next week we will be celebrating Chinese New Year.
