Hi there- what a week!
This week, we have been told that we are producing a play with year 6, so we are very excited about that! We have been learning our songs and we will be having auditions this week. Some of us are very hopeful for main speaking parts.
In literacy, we have been performing research to enable us to write information texts, and in maths we have been carrying on our work with angles, shapes and nets.
We are carrying on with our learning about Eastern Europe for our topic. We are learning lots of facts we didn't know before and find it very interesting.
In computing we are finishing off the websites we created with our partners. We used Google sites to create and populate a website with a subject that interested us and we are just putting the finishing touches to them now. Mrs Gurney is very impressed!
John, Ellie and Ewan are our stars of the week this week for helping out and covering the year 6 monitor jobs while they do their SATs. Thank you and well done to you all!!
Today we have been to Forbidden Corner with year 6 as a treat for working so hard. What a fantastic day we have had! The adults loved it as much as we did and we all had a wonderful time. The bus journey was quite long but well worth it!
