Weather

Happy New Year everyone! We hope that you all had a lovely Christmas holiday and are feeling refreshed ready for the term ahead.  

This half term we looking at different types of weather and this week we have talked about 'wind'.  We have read "Mrs Mopples washing line" and "The wind blew." If you do not have these stories at home, why not share them by watching them on youtube? 

In class we have made a weather chart, and recorded the weather every day.  We have also made boats and then tested out their suitabilty (and our lung capacity!) by taking them outside into the water tray.

We listened to the spooky howling wind track and used our wind dancers to move to the sounds we heard.
