All of Elm class are Star of the Week this week! When asked, Louise from the Konflux theatre that came in to work with Elm and produce the Play in a Day, said she couldn't possibly choose anyone that had stood out because all the children were stars! On Wednesday, we took a trip to Cineworld at Middlesbrough along with lots of other schools to see a showing of The Queen of Katwe. The children loved the film that depicted lots of examples of resilience, tenacity and striving for excellence in the face of adversity. In maths we have introduced multiplication and division and will be working up to 2 and 3-digit numbers, and in literacy we are continuing to write up the listings for our shops using lots of emotive language.
