Week beginning 30th October 2017

This week in science we have been testing the properties of different materials to see if they bend and discussing why this is necessary for their particular use.The items included a straw, a table, a spoon, a tape measure and an elastic band.We tested each item and recorded our results in a chart.

We are going on an autumn walk tomorrow to look for signs of seasonal change in the school grounds.We plan to use these first hand experiences as a basis for writing a recount in literacy.The children are very enthusiastic about what they will see and we will share our photographs next week.
