This week, we have been looking at how the digestive system works. We looked at a variety of meals (and snacks) and created our own digestive tracts from sandwich bags, newspaper and tights (with a little help from some sharp knives which acted as teeth!)

As you can imagine, things got a little messy - and quite smelly too - but we all now know what happens inside our bodies all of the way from chewing to pooing. We have been writing explanation texts about the process too.Take a look at our photographs to see the fun we had (and to see the poos our digestive systems produced!)
