What a glorious day it has been! The sun is shining, birds are tweeting and we are surrounded by signs of Spring. Long may it continue.
Today half of us have been enjoying this lovely weather whilst participating in Forest Schools. We have continued building our shelters, learning about fire safety outdoors and actually having a go at lighting a fire using flint and steel. Well done to Megan Cole who actually managed to light her cotton pad twice.
Inside, the rest of the class have continued with equivalent fractions. Although it is proving a bit tricky, we are getting there.
Keep persevering Maple Class.
Last week, we enjoyed a day of Judaism where we learnt about the synagogue, Jewish foods and artefacts. The children thoroughly enjoyed it and were enthusiastic and motivated.
Congratulations to Megan, Thea, Macey and Rebecca this week for working collaboratively as a team. As a result, you have earned this week's celebration certificate.
