We can't wait to take part in the lantern parade on Friday night! Don't forget to check out last week's blog for photographs of us making our fabulous lanterns.
This week we welcomed visitors from York University who came to deliver a migration workshop. We learned a lot about reasons why people may migrate to another place and how it might make them feel.
Today we have had the first round of 'Stakesby's Got Talent' in support of Children In Need. Our classroom was transformed into 'Judge's Houses' where we were dazzled by fantastic singing and amazing dancing! After watching all the performances, we held a public vote to see which act would make it to the Live Final on Friday! We are delighted to announce that Megan will be representing Maple Class in the final on Friday. Megan blew us away by singing 'Naughty' from the smash hit musical 'Matilda'. Congratulations and Good Luck Megan!
Our 'Star of the Week' this week has to be Megan for her outstanding performance, Well Done Megan!
