The weather is getting colder and the wind's been a bit wild this week, but here in Elm class we're still beavering away.

We're still swimming for a couple more weeks, enjoying our PE lessons and going outside for Forest Schools so we're still as active as ever!

In maths, we're continuing our learning on rounding numbers and in literacy, we're finishing up our alien invasion stories and creating media documents for the wall.

This week in history, we have covered some Anglo-Saxon Kings and enjoyed learning about King Athelstan, King Alfred and their battles with the Vikings. We're really enjoying our topic at the moment!

We're still journeying into the unknown with reading comprehension for our Space theme and using Google Sketchup in our computing lessons to create accurate, 3-dimensional shapes to scale.

We're still as busy as ever and Mrs Tillson and Mrs Gurney are delighted with us so far!
