Elm class are looking forward to a warm, sunny half term. Fingers crossed!
This week we have been working on comprehension, RWI spelling, SPAG and report writing in literacy, and comparing Eastern European climates for our topic work.
In maths we have been learning about translation and reflection, with reasoning and problem solving activites for them.
We have finished our websites in Computing with Mrs Gurney and we are very willing to show you our efforts! Our evaluated work is now on display on the computing suite.
Our class sunflower is doing well! We have repotted it into a larger pot so we are hopeful for a huge growth spurt for it! Mrs Gurney is hoping someone with a sunny garden will volunteer to take it home and water it during the half term. *Hint, hint!*
Our first SRE lesson went really well this week. Mrs Gurney and Mrs Mason were very impressed with our mature attidute towards this subject.
We have drawn some self-portraits this week for a tea towel that will be printed with our images on. Look out for an order form!
Our Stakesby Superstars this half term are Billy and Olivia MT. A huge well done to both of you!
Happy half term from Elm class. X
