This week we have been working hard on our gingerbread man stories.The children have recalled and recorded the traditional story as preparation to innovate the original version with their own ideas next week.Please look in your childs book bag for some talk homework, which will help your child to discuss their ideas with you at home prior to writing at school.

We have been continuing with fractions this week finding half and quarter of a quantity.The children have used halving and quartering mats to help them with their calculations.

The children have been enjoying their forest schools with Mrs Mason and have been exploring and finding their own 'magic spot' in the reading wood, in order to play a memory game.

Lets hope the sunny, warmer weather makes another appearance next week!!
