This week we have been to the moon! We have been talking about what it would be like to live there and how it would be different than to live here on Earth. We thought it might be cold and we would need to wrap up warm. We have been learning the names of the planets in order and have also made new names for planets - Earth Romeo! Florence made up her own spotty star! Good work Acorns children!
In phonics we have been making up new names involving tongue twisters - Bouncing Benjamin and Zak went to the zoo on a zebra.
We have also made pictures using the 2d shapes and used the environment to look for 3d shapes. We have used positional language to discuss where these shapes are. We really enjoyed singing 'Where's the Monkey?' Why not share at home?
