Another busy week in Elm class this week. We have finished the final draft of our spooky stories now and we are very much looking forward to them being judged and finding out the winner! The winning entry will be published on our class page so keep a look out! All stories are going to form an anthology which will sit in our school library for everyone to read!
We enjoyed a splash session at the pool this week, which now brings our swimming lessons to an end.
PCSO Steph Chapman paid us a visit to deliver a cyber safety workshop to us. It was very interesting and we learned all about how to keep ourselves safe on the internet.
Check out the gallery to see pictures of us working on lots of different maths problems this week. We had to work as part of a team and each take on a role to help our team solve a range of challenging problems. The winning team were rewarded with Haribo!
Well done to Anais, who received the ‘Stakesby star of the week’ certificate for excellent progress in writing ☺
Melody and Mollie were challenged on their times tables this week in assembly so that they were able to receive their Tables Master certificate. They did great!
Phoebe won a prize for her entry into the bonfire picture competition. Well done, Phoebe!
