Another great week in Ash Class! This week we have been writing poetry. We completed our poems entitled 'Mysteries' and then learnt about Kenning Poems and of course - created our own. We all agreed in Ash class that writing poetry had been more fun than we expected! In other writing this week we put the finishing touches to the Roman Class Book we have created. This is a reflection of all the new knowledge we have acquired about the Romans. In maths we were focusing on the inverse operations and solving addition/subtraction calculations mentally.
On Thursday we celebrated our Superstars of this half term - Phoebe and Daniel. A big well done to you both, what a fantastic half term you have had.
On Friday we went to spend the day in Danby Moors with Maple Class. We had a brilliant time. We learnt how to use compasses, how to read maps and identify the correct symbols on maps and we also went Geocaching in the afternoon which was absolutely fantastic. We learnt so much geography in just one day!
