Well, it has been another fun-filled week in Beech class, and Mrs Sloan is delighted to see all the children so enthusiastic about their learning!

In Literacy, some fantastic writing has been produced. The children have written their own stories based on 'Flat Stanley' and have demonstrated their ability to engage the reader by including relevant detail.

In numeracy, we have been learning about multiplication. Mrs Sloan has been very impressed with how quickly the children have grasped how to solve multiplication problems. They have also had a test on the 2 x table and lots of children are able to instantly recall the facts. Well done!

A very BIG well done to our 'Star of the Week' who was Annie-May. She was chosen by lots of Beech Class because of her kind and caring nature.
