On Monday we had a fantastic time visiting the library. The children had the opportunity to listen to a range of stories and to discuss fiction and non fiction books. We learn't how to search in alphabetical order and chose a few books to take home. We hope you enjoy sharing the stories together.

"I love to talk about the pictures in a story" Hayden

"I was so excited when i scanned my own books" Logan

"I loved having the opportunity to look at the different books"   Safi

We can't wait to visit the library again. A big thank you to Whitby library for having us.

When a drone visited Stakesby!

Paul from YorkshireDroneServices.com recently visited Stakesby with his drone to take some images of the children spelling out the word 'GOOD' in celebration of our recent Ofsted success. Year 5 used problem solving techniques in a maths lesson to work out the area that the children had to stand in and how the children and letters would be arranged. A huge 'Thank You' to Paul for his services and patience and keep an eye out in the Whitby Gazette for the images!
