Class Blog, Ash Class

Friday 19th May 2017

This week in Ash Class we have been writing about East Barnby doing diary entries and poems. We all had lots of fun and excitement in all the activities.

In maths we’ve been learning about different triangles such as an isosceles, an equilateral triangle and a scalene triangle.

Today we are all quite sad to have our friend Kyra leaving, we all wish her the best at her new school and we will all miss her, hope you have fun at your new school!

English

This week in English we have been focusing on East Barnby. We have been making poems, 'dear diary’s' and 'how to survive East Barnby' guides for year three. Also we have been doing our grammar ten in tens and we have been enjoying them.

Class Dojos

Class Dojos are being used for attendance. They are creatures that are encouraging our children to be on time and be at school.

Our children get 5 points for being on time for school and get 5 points for being at school. All these points will add up on Friday and if you get 50 points you will get 30 minutes of your choice on Friday afternoon.

Maths

This week in maths we have been learning about types of triangles such as isosceles, scalene, equilateral and right angled triangle. We have been learning about the properties of all of the triangles. Also we have been doing other shapes that have more interesting properties.
