We hope that you have all really enjoyed the Easter holidays and are ready for a new term. Mrs Baker and I are very excited about seeing you all tomorrow and finding out what you have been up to over the last couple of weeks.

In addition to our ten questions in ten minutes daily maths warm up, we will be beginning a '10 in 10' spelling, punctuation and grammar daily warm up too. We hope that this will help you to improve your spelling, use of punctuation and understanding of grammar.

We are also looking forward to the 'Tour De Yorkshire' which is once again scheduled to pass through the heart of Whitby on Friday afternoon (28th April). School will finish early on Friday to enable families to cheer on the cyclists as they pass by.

This week our  'Stars of the Week' are Sophie K and Evan who have settled in to Maple Class so quickly after joining us earlier in April. Congratulations to you both!
