We have been getting to grips with our digestive systems this week in Ash class and it hasn't been pretty!! Last Friday we recreated the journey of a banana and how it travels through the digestive system and this week we have been focusing on organs in more depth. The children have been using all the correct vocabulary and have demonstrated a great understanding of how our bodies work. In art they have designed the digestive system using different materials.

In English this week our learning has been centred around a text - The Day the Crayons Quit. Ask the children to tell you about it!

We have continued our learning in fractions and applying these in word problems.

Well done to Hollie for being our Superstar this week. Hollie's confidence has increased so much since January - well done!
