This week we have begun new topics and themes in many of our lessons. In Geography, we have started to learn about 'Extreme Earth' by beginning to find out more about volcanoes and how they are made. We watched a video of a real volcano erupting in Iceland and were surprised to see how quickly the lava can flow.

In Science we began to learn about magnetism and had a great time exploring with the magnets and feeling the magnetic forces.

Our class text this term is The Iron Man. We were all hooked after the first paragraph! We have written the first chapter from the Iron Man's viewpoint Our teachers were impressed with the quality of writing.

This week our 'Star of the Week' is Erin. Erin's Iron Man work was outstanding and possibly better than the original! Well Done Erin!
