This week in Ash class we have been doing lots of collaborative work. In maths, we have been problem solving and this was successful because we all talked and listened to each other really well. We discussed ideas and compromised. We also learnt how to divide using a written method. 

 

 

 

 

We had a visit from our PCSOs this week too. They talked to us about staying safe online. We decided that as a class we know how to stay safe online exceptionally well and the PCSOs were really impressed. Thanks for answering all our questions too! 

 

 

In English we have been securing our understanding of expanded noun phrases and determiners.

As part of road safety week, we had a visit from Mandy Lees who talked about staying safe on the roads. 

Well done to Leah who is our Star of the Week for having a positive attitude to learning this week! Well done.

Puppet Workshop 20.09.2017

The whole school enjoyed a puppet workshop with David today. We learned puppet techniques like how to speak without moving our mouths and how to hold and move our puppets. We also watched a short puppet show. We all thought it was brilliant!
