First of all we'd like to say a HUGE 'THANK YOU' to all the parents and other family members who brought their children along to take part in the town's Lantern Parade last Friday. It was a truly magical event and one which will certainly stick in the children's memories for years to come. We really couldn't have done it without you!

As it is Road Safety Week, the children have been taking part in many assemblies and activities to remind them how to cross the road. It is vital that young children are regularly reminded of this as sadly, each year, many children lose their lives on our roads. I'm pleased to say that Maple Class win a Gold Star for knowing all the safe places to cross.

This week our 'Star of the Week' is Stuart for putting more effort into his work this week. Well Done Stuart!
