This week we have been working hard to prepare for our harvest festival. The theme for this year's harvest festival is colours of the rainbow. Beech class are indigo and so we have been thinking about foods relating to this colour.

In Literacy, we have been looking at instructional writing. As part of this, we decided to follow instructions on how to make a bramble crumble.
We picked our own brambles and then followed the receipe before baking it in the oven. We were then able to eat the delicious crumble, yummy!
Next we had to write our own set of instructions on how to make a bramble crumble. Mrs Sloan was really impressed with our writing! We are now working hard on our contribution for the Harvest Festival.

We are taking part in the 'Can Can Appeal' where we are collecting cans of food for those less fortunate than ourselves.
